Here’s another video that I created based on some tricks that I learned while taking a course in Advanced Microsoft Word. This one’s longer – nearly seven minutes long (I was aiming for six). I’m quite proud of figuring this out, I’ve been looking for a way to achieve what I think of as “text variable” functionality for years now.

Update: This video has turned out to be surprisingly popular. Clearly this is a function that people want to use in Word, yet struggle to find on their own. Even many years (and many Microsoft Office updates) later, I’m still getting over a thousand views per month.
